The Office of Academic Planning has launched the new UGA Elements professional profile system.

The automated system replaces the Faculty Activity Repository and will become the primary source of data regarding the research, scholarship, service, awards and honors of UGA faculty. All UGA faculty will be required to use the system to facilitate the annual performance evaluation process for 2016 and beyond.

All UGA faculty members have a profile in UGA Elements, with information such as education, official appointments, grants and courses taught automatically integrated from campus databases. Articles from most scholarly journals will be imported upon publication, although faculty members will be responsible for making sure the data synchronizes when prompted by an email alert. Faculty members may need to manually input some information, such as community service and awards from outside the university.

Each unit has named an administrative liaison for the project who will coordinate training opportunities for UGA Elements as well as its timetable for implementation. For questions, please contact your unit’s administrative liaison. A list is available at elements.uga.edu.

To sign in the UGA Elements system or access training materials using your MyID, go to elements.uga.edu.
