The different locations stock different specialties, as noted below. Staff at all locations can assist customers with special order items not stocked, and can provide vendor and product knowledge that will enable UGA researchers to find the right materials to meet specific protocols and processes.
- All locations are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- All locations serve researchers with research account numbers; only the Chemistry Stockroom serves students.

Central Research Store is the warehouse and distribution center for all stockrooms. Over 2,000 items are stocked for same-day delivery to departments on the Athens campus. A research account number is required to place an order. Orders also may be picked up at Central Research Store or delivered to one of the stockrooms.
The Chemistry Stockroom (formerly known as Campus Scientific Store) provides scientific supplies–including research chemicals, dry ice, liquid nitrogen, specialty gases and chemistry glassware–to teaching and research laboratories at UGA, as well as to students. In addition, it stocks a variety of life sciences products from suppliers such as Qiagen, Promega, Fisher, EM Science, Novagen, Sigma, Bio-Rad, Roche, Stratagene, Amersham and National Diagnostics. Students may purchase supplies at this location.
The Coverdell Stockroom is conveniently located in Coverdell Biomedical Center to serve faculty there and the surrounding area such as the College of Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, and Miller Plant Sciences. This stockroom specializes in life sciences products from suppliers such as Fisher Scientific, VWR, Sigma, Bio-Rad, New England Biolabs, GE, Promega, and Roche.
