CITI Training

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) is a web-based training program administered by the University of Miami. UGA has chosen to use the online courses available through this service to provide training for Human Subjects Research, Responsible Conduct of Research and Conflict of Interest.

Select one of nine versions offered:

  • Social & Behavioral Research – Basic
  • Social & Behavioral Research – Children
  • Social & Behavioral Research – International
  • Social & Behavioral Research – Children & International
  • Social & Behavioral Research – Internet
  • Social & Behavioral Research – Prisoners
  • Social & Behavioral Research – Pregnant Women
  • Bio-Medical Research – Basic
  • Bio-Medical Research – Spanish Language

The Human Subjects modules typically take 2-3 hours to complete. You do not have to complete the course in a single sitting. You must complete the associated quiz with an aggregate score of 80% in order to receive course credit. Course credit is good for 5 years.

Select one of the four versions offered:

  • Biomedical RCR
  • Social & Behavioral RCR
  • Physical Science RCR
  • Humanities RCR

The RCR program typically take 3-4 hours to complete. You don’t have to complete the course in a single sitting. You must complete the associated quiz with an aggregate score of 80% in order to receive course credit.

The FCOI module typically takes about 90 minutes to complete. You don’t have to complete the course in a single sitting. You must complete the associated quiz with an aggregate score of 80% in order to receive course credit. Course credit is good for 4 years.
