Research Integrity & Safety Support Services
Research and Environmental Safety Training
The Office of Research Safety (ORS) and the Environmental Safety Division (ESD) work collaboratively to support a safe working environment for UGA employees, students, and visitors. Both offer education, training, on-site audits, meetings, consultations, and recommendations. ESD focuses on environmental and occupational safety services, while ORS supports research-specific safety needs through the Office of Research Integrity and Safety (ORIS). Together, the two departments ensure comprehensive and coordinated safety programs across the university.
