Holly Sellers is a UGA alumnae who received both her Master’s and Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from the College of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently a professor in the Department of Pathology at UGA where she studies clinical and molecular virology with a focus on avian viruses. Her research in this area has led to 10 invention disclosures, 4 issued patents, and several UGA poultry vaccine products that have been licensed to help secure Georgia’s $28 billion poultry industry.
