January 2017 Spotlighted Inventor – Qingguo “Jack” Huang

Qingguo “Jack” Huang, associate professor in the department of crop and soil sciences, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, is developing innovative environmental science technologies in a variety of different areas. Huang’s research has led to one issued patent and several pending patent applications including the enzymatic treatment of turfgrass to overcome thatch and soil water repellency problems, as well as for biofuel applications.
