Andrew Grier is our new Contract Specialist and will help address the increased number of material transfer agreement and non-disclosure agreement requests stemming from UGA’s research enterprise.

Kevin Wu joins the Innovation Gateway startup team to lead the day-to-day operations of the prototyping lab and to support UGA’s growing roster of engineering and materials science startups.

Yuan Si is our inaugural Industry Fellow, a postdoctoral position established to train a Ph.D. graduate in the skills needed to transition from bench research to the technology transfer profession. Yuan will participate in all aspects of technology value creation including evaluation, intellectual property protection, marketing, licensing and startup activities.

Timothy Martin joins the startup program as our new Associate Director. Tim will look after the biotech aspects of the program as well as help our startup projects successfully find and secure funding opportunities.
