- Innovation Gateway executed multiple testing and option agreements for ornamental selections developed by John Ruter, blueberry selections developed by Scott NeSmith and pecan and muscadine selections developed by Patrick Conner. All inventors work in UGA horticulture.
- Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc., a leading animal health company, will create 225 jobs and invest more than $120 million in Gwinnett, Clarke and Hall counties.
- ECO Animal Health, a drug-development company based in London, has signed a second deal with UGA to commercialize a new poultry vaccine.
