Ruth Davis and Ruihua Dong, research professionals with the Monoclonal Antibody Facility at UGA’s Bioexpression and Fermentation Facility, won this year’s poster competition at the annual meeting of the Southeastern Association of Shared Resources (SEASR) in June in Tampa, Fla. Davis works with Innovation Gateway as a Kerafast Fellow, a program that provides scientists at a select group of institutions with real-life experience in the technology commercialization field, through the identification, characterization and eventually, commercialization, of novel research tools generated within their institution. The poster explained how UGA’s MAF responded to a request for a monoclonal antibody.
