Innovation Bootcamp alumni came together on Jan. 17, 2024, for Innovation Gateway’s first Reboot event.
Reboot is a series of events for Bootcamp alumni to get to know participants from previous cohorts through networking and sharing updates on their entrepreneurial journey. This kickoff mixer included a Q&A discussion with Skylar Security CEO Jamine Moton and Marie Hunter, a UGA alumnus and president of KRG fuel + energy Company, LLC.
Of course, they received plenty of advice from Hairy Dawg, as well.
The fun didn’t end with the mixer. Reboot members will stay in touch through a LinkedIn group, meant to expand networking and collaboration opportunities.
Innovation Bootcamp offers tailored training to equip attendees with skills needed for success in an innovative, entrepreneurial environment. Past cohorts have focused on the creative space, students and faculty in computing, women in STEM, entrepreneurs of color, and more. It will kick off its spring cohort on Feb. 5, where Moton and Hunter will again visit to lead a new class of budding entrepreneurs.
