We have a diverse group of specialists, each contributing their unique skills. For instance, Professor Kenan Song\/Yang Liu\/Jason Locklin is using 3D printing to create innovative soil sensors, while Professor Hongyue Sun is applying data science to make agriculture more precise. Our team doesn&#8217;t stop there &#8211; we also have experts like Professor Wesley Porter, Prof. John L Snider, and Cristiane Pilon, who ensure the reliability of these sensors, and Professor Ramaraja Ramasamy, who works on extending their lifespan. Together, we&#8217;re seeking grants from organizations like the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture to support our work. Our goal is to empower farmers with data-driven solutions, so they can improve soil health, optimize resource use, and create a more productive and eco-conscious future.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the team members and their expertise, our planned team-building activities will revolve around fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and enhancing our collective understanding of precision agriculture and sensor technology. To make sure our team works together seamlessly, we&#8217;re planning collaborative workshops, research seminars, and data-sharing sessions. We&#8217;ll collaborate on data analysis, present our research findings, and further help each other with grant proposals.
