New Submissions: If you are preparing a new submission to be submitted to the IRB, COVID-19 will not be part of the risk/benefit assessment. Thus, the IRB will not require any materials or procedures related to COVID-19. When conceptualizing and ultimately conducting your study, please follow guidance and policies from the CDC, UGA and/or guidance that is specific to the area or venue in which you are conducting research (e.g., hospitals, schools, long-term care facilities). See the Standard Protections Audit for more detailed information.
