{"id":24728,"date":"2022-03-07T13:29:10","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T18:29:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.uga.edu\/research-insights\/?p=24728"},"modified":"2022-03-07T13:44:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T18:44:45","slug":"automated-balance-snapshots-for-new-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.uga.edu\/research-insights\/automated-balance-snapshots-for-new-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Automated balance snapshots for new projects"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For NEW projects beginning on or after\u00a0April 1, 2022,\u00a0Principal Investigators will begin receiving\u00a0monthly,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onesource.uga.edu\/news\/psr_lite_subcriptions\/\">automated project balance snapshots<\/a>\u00a0in the form of\u00a0the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/oir.uga.edu\/data\/oper\/financials\/psrlite\/\" target=\"_blank\">Project Status Report (PSR) Lite<\/a>. This report, designed by PIs for PIs, is like a bank statement that includes\u00a0direct cost\u00a0budget, actual expenses and remaining balance. It also shows\u00a0recent transactions and recent payroll, with the option to drill down for additional information.\u00a0The automatic subscription process will apply to new awards, and PIs also have the option\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/kaltura.uga.edu\/media\/t\/1_jzo663pj\/207847323\" target=\"_blank\">create a subscription<\/a>\u00a0for existing projects. PIs will receive these updates on the 10th of each month.
