{"id":24525,"date":"2021-12-07T10:28:14","date_gmt":"2021-12-07T15:28:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.uga.edu\/research-matters\/?p=24525"},"modified":"2021-12-07T10:28:14","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T15:28:14","slug":"iacuc-updated-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/research.uga.edu\/research-insights\/iacuc-updated-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"IACUC updated guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>IACUC has instituted the&nbsp;<strong>Guidelines for Ferret Housing in T2000 Containment Caging<\/strong>, outlining the standards for housing ferrets in that type of caging system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IACUC has also revised the guidelines for ferret inhalant anesthesia, renamed&nbsp;<strong>Guidelines for Ferret Inhalant Anesthesia for Brief, Non-Painful Procedures<\/strong>.
