Timely communication of any research animal health issues helps ensure appropriate animal health oversight that includes and promotes effective medical treatment of animals, complete veterinary medical records, and an enhanced program of disease prevention and control.<\/p>\n<p>You can provide information through the \u201cIACUC Reporting\u201d form found on UGA\u2019s IACUC webpage at <a href=\"https:\/\/ovpr.uga.edu\/oacu\/iacuc\/\">https:\/\/ovpr.uga.edu\/oacu\/iacuc\/<\/a> \u00a0Or you can email the IACUC at <a href=\"mailto:IACUC@uga.edu\">IACUC@uga.edu<\/a> .\u00a0 Your Attending Veterinarian also has a 24 hour emergency phone at 706-542-7204.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UGA researchers are reminded\u00a0 to communicate any research animal health problems or concerns to your Attending Veterinarian or the IACUC in a timely manner.
