This is even more important in satellite facilities where the Attending Veterinarian may have little interaction on a day-to-day basis. Timely communication of any research animal health issues helps ensure appropriate animal health oversight that includes and promotes effective medical treatment of animals, complete veterinary medical records, and an enhanced program of disease prevention and control.<\/p>\n
