NIH ORIP seeks input

The NIH Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (ORIP) is seeking input.

As part of ORIP’s strategic planning process, they have released a request for information (RFI), NOT-OD-20-050: “FY 2021-2025 Strategic Plan for the Office of Research Infrastructure Programs: Division of Comparative Medicine and Division of Construction and Instruments Programs.”

ORIP, located within the NIH’s Office of the Director, supports research infrastructure resources for

  • models of human diseases; 
  • the acquisition of cutting-edge scientific instruments;
  • construction and modernization of research facilities;
  • and training the next generations of researchers

through the Division of Comparative Medicine and the Division of Construction and Instruments Programs.

This RFI seeks input from the research community and other interested stakeholders about ORIP’s future directions and program priorities.

This RFI will be open for comments through February 7, 2020
