Awards & Honors: Guggenheim Research Grants Wednesday, April 12, 2017 - The Henry Frank Guggenheim Foundation welcomes proposals for its annual Research Grant Program that promise to increase understanding of the causes, manifestations, and control of violence and aggression. These proposals may come from any of the natural and social sciences as well as the humanities.
Awards & Honors: NSF CAREER and PECASE Thursday, April 6, 2017 - The NSF is currently accepting nominations for its annual Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program. Awardees from the CAREER program are then eligible for the Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).
Awards & Honors: Investigators in the Pathogenesis of Infectious Disease (PATH) Thursday, March 30, 2017 - The PATH award provides $500,000 over five years to support accomplished investigators at the assistant professor level to study pathogenesis, with a focus on the interplay between human and microbial biology, shedding light on how human and microbial systems are affected by their encounters.
