The Jefferson Science Fellowship is open to tenured, or similarly ranked, academic scientists, engineers and physicians from U.S. institutions of higher learning. Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship and will be required to obtain a security clearance. For 2018, up to five Jefferson Science Fellowships will be available at the USAID.
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) invites nominations for 85 Society Awards that recognize civil engineers who advance the profession either through achievement or published papers. A wide array of honors, several including cash prizes, exist to award students, younger members, career professionals, projects, authors of ASCE-published papers, and researchers/educators.

The CHS fellowship program encourages and supports research of the highest quality on topics related to ancient Greece. The program encourages proposals that reflect collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches. Fellowships include a stipend (maximum $18,000), housing at the CHS for 4 to 16 weeks, subsidized health insurance, and support for relocation expenses.
