Beasley heads a research subcommittee of the National Wild Pig Task Force, and he presented the group\u2019s recommendations in a study published in the Journal of Wildlife Management. \u201cThe goal is to reduce damages,\u201d says Beasley, assistant professor at the Savannah River Ecology Lab and the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. \u201cThis template is a mechanism to get us there, hopefully within the next five to 10 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>This brief appeared in the fall 2018 issue of\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>Research Magazine<em>.
