What do the Virgin Mary’s embroidered robes, a mobile app to monitor pets, and the pre-gaming ritual of getting ready with your friends have in common? They’re all areas studied by students who just graduated from the University of Georgia’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
Proving that some of the best classrooms are those without walls, members of the 2026 class carried their curiosity to the Georgia coast, coding labs, philosophy seminars, and scuba dives, demonstrating the future of investigation at UGA and beyond. Taken together, their stories reflect the interdisciplinary and inquisitive mission of the college.
