In 2022, the University of Georgia established its Institute for Integrative Precision Agriculture (IIPA), a home for research, education, extension, and outreach in next-generation agricultural technology.

Since then, it has grown into a trusted partner for growers and business, addressing vital needs for one of Georgia’s biggest industries. IIPA is home to more than 90 faculty from seven schools and colleges at UGA.

In this photo essay, you can meet a few of the researchers working to modernize the field of agriculture and mitigate challenges like disease and a change climate, improve efficiency, and lower costs for farmers. While this is just a snapshot of the individuals making enormous contributions, you can learn more about the institute and other faculty researchers here.

IIPA also recently launched an Industry Advisory Board. Learn more about the board and how to get involved with the institute at the link.
