Innovation Bootcamp

Amelia Yin speaks to crowd

As the Innovation District moves forward and the entrepreneurship ecosystem continues to thrive at UGA, we want to make sure that our programs are truly inclusive and represent the diversity of our campus. To facilitate this goal, a six-week intensive Innovation Bootcamp program has been developed that will deliver focused training in order to equip attendees with the key skills needed for success in an innovative, entrepreneurial environment. Over the course of six weeks attendees will meet weekly to learn firsthand about the basics of commercialization and targeted skill building, as well as receive one-on-one support from experienced coaches, many of whom are successful entrepreneurs.

This program, which is open to all faculty, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows, has been developed with a flexible framework that can be tailored to the needs of a specific cohort. The first bootcamp has been designed specifically to address the unique challenges faced by female entrepreneurs.

This year’s program begins Oct. 15 and runs through Nov. 19, 2019. Participants should complete their application by Friday, Sept. 27, 2019. Applicants accepted into the program will be notified by Oct. 2. Please note that it is important for the cohort to go through the bootcamp together. Please review the Innovation Bootcamp schedule below prior to committing to this workshop.

The registration for the October Innovation Bootcamp is now closed. If you would like information on future Bootcamps, please email Grace Trimble at
