Innovation Gateway recommends using these resources to develop the startup company and address deficiencies found during the assessment process. Priority will be given to companies in the Georgia Startup License, but all UGA startup companies are eligible to access these resources.

Website and Logo Development

Access to UGA resources and expertise to develop customized and high-quality graphic logos, corporate branding for website and other business promotion, and a basic landing page website suitable for early-stage startup companies.

Grant Submission Review and Coaching

Access to UGA grant professionals for research plan review, budget development, and optimization of the grant narrative to stress the impact of the grant funding increase proposal competitiveness.

Business Case Development

Access to UGA Startup Program Externs and MBA students (as available) to help answer key questions about the proposed business model, competitive landscape, and strategic partner analysis. Potential outputs include pitch decks and executive summary documents.

Pitch Coaching

Intensive one-on-one pitch coaching in preparation for the startup’s presentation to Innovation Gateway staff.

Ongoing Conflicts of Interest/Conflicts of Commitment/Outside Work Guidance

Navigation through the UGA Conflict of Interest and Outside Work approval process, and assistance with development of a conflicts of interest Management Plan for the startup.

Mentor and Advisor Recruitment

Introduction to mentors and advisors from the UGA Innovation District Mentor Program.
