Defense and Security Collaborations

The U.S. Air Force offers multiple student programs though the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Currently, the U.S. Space Force opportunities are embedded in the AFRL opportunities.

• The primary internship opportunity is the AFRL Scholars Program, which is open year-round and open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
• Other programs are available at different times of the year. You may use the AFRL Search for all opportunities.
• The Air Force and Space Force participates in NDSEG, SMART, and SSEP (use AFRL Search)
