The Export Control Office, in conjunction with the Office of Research Compliance Training Coordinator, offers in person training and educational sessions for researchers, administrators, departments, operational units, and any other UGA group interested in learning more about export controls and economic sanctions. These sessions are tailored to each audience and can be offered with as much detail and length as is necessary. Additionally, the Export Control Office proactively reaches out to departments and units that are potential risk sensitive. Contact Dan Runge at 706.542.4188 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a session.
Additionally, the Training Coordinator and Export Compliance Officer have developed a basic training overview of export control regulations. The training is available through the UGA AALAS Learning Library at AALAS. The course is available by selecting Libraries > Animal Care and Use Courses > US Mandates and Guidelines > Export Control Regulations.
