UGA’s Terry College of Business Executive Programs offer a suite of conferences and educational leadership programs designed to meet the needs of businesses and executives. Whether at our classroom facilities in Buckhead, or on site at your organization, we combine faculty with industry experts to deliver programs that provide critical skills necessary for success.
The Technology Commercialization Office works flexibly and collaboratively with industry to maximize private sector-UGA relationships. UGA’s technology transfer program ranks among the top U.S. universities for moving inventions into the marketplace. Licensing agreements with industry partners have led to the commercialization of hundreds of products.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Georgia BioBusiness Center, located on UGA’s Athens campus, works with indigenous and recruited start-up bioscience companies with research and technology ties to the University of Georgia. The GBBC provides an economic stimulus to the Northeast Georgia region as companies provide jobs and solve unmet community needs by translating University research into products and services.
UGA’s Office of Economic Development contributes to Georgia’s economic prosperity by helping create jobs, create and expand businesses and enhance community tax bases as well as by providing education, training and information for individuals and organizations responsible for economic development.
